Utilising our specialists in energy optimisation and emissions reducing technology, we can provide a unique service for assisting an asset owner in achieving their carbon emissions goals. By performing an initial study to map an asset’s energy consumption and carbon emissions, we are able to provide a set of recommendations and measures for optimising energy consumption and implementing the right technology for that asset to reduce carbon emissions.
By using our tailor-made software and systematic process, we can effectively identify the emission sources and energy consumers on the asset in a screening. A screening, as a baseline, is the key to further being able to recommend strategic measures for our customer within energy saving, emission reduction and power management.
The Combined Energy Management Baseline Screening (CEMBS) is based on:

Establishing Odfjell Oceanwind is the Odfjell group’s first venture into the renewable energy sector. By constructing floating offshore wind turbines to provide renewable energy to platforms and rigs, we are contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions in the oil and gas sector by reducing diesel consumption.
Odfjell Technology will be a pivotal supplier of engineering competence to Odfjell Oceanwind in the fabrication and construction of the mobile offshore wind turbines and marks the start of our transition to new energy markets.
Further, Odfjell Technology has established a group of specialists within energy management and carbon emissions reduction to provide such expertise to the offshore and shipping industry. The group specialises in advising asset owners the most optimal use of energy and technology to reduce carbon emissions.
