Key Responsibilities:
- Directly Support MEAA WS Operations teams by providing a centralized support function including :
- Preparation / reviewing of BHA’s Operational procedures and Tenders technical and commercial.
- Preparing software modelling for Torque and Drag and hydraulic displacements
- Providing mentoring and training
- Attending DWOP’s/CWOP’s and client technical meetings
- Perform workshop audits
- Perform failure investigations
- Rig site/offshore support when required
- Oversee the technical development of WBT and other product ranges if required
- Contribute to design and technical reviews to steer WBT portfolio development and other product ranges if required
- Prepare training materials, evaluate competencies and deliver training in WBCU
- Other duties as requested by line manager
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or significant experience
- 7 years’ experience in a technical support role in a relevant discipline (WBCU, Drilling, completions) including
- Technical Report Writing
- QA/QC activities
- Training/mentoring/supervising
- Extensive offshore experience preferred
- Excellent English skills, both oral and writing
- Excellent PC skills, must be proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook
