Well Interventions Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly Support MEAA WS Operations teams by providing a centralized support function including :
  • Preparation / reviewing of BHA’s Operational procedures and Tenders technical and commercial.
  • Preparing software modelling for Torque and Drag and hydraulic displacements
  • Providing mentoring and training
  • Attending DWOP’s/CWOP’s and client technical meetings
  • Perform workshop audits
  • Perform failure investigations
  • Rig site/offshore support when required
  • Oversee the technical development of WBT and other product ranges if required
  • Contribute to design and technical reviews to steer WBT portfolio development and other product ranges if required
  • Prepare training materials, evaluate competencies and deliver training in WBCU
  • Other duties as requested by line manager

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or significant experience
  • 7 years’ experience in a technical support role in a relevant discipline (WBCU, Drilling, completions) including
  • Technical Report Writing
  • QA/QC activities
  • Training/mentoring/supervising
  • Extensive offshore experience preferred
  • Excellent English skills, both oral and writing
  • Excellent PC skills, must be proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook
