Job Description
- Participate in operations acc. to customer’s requirements
- Running and pulling of casing/tubing
- Make sure that the equipment is working as expected
- Maintain the equipment
- Market our services and products
- Maintain and develop good relations and good service towards our customers and suppliers
- Participate in emergency drills
- Maintain order and cleanliness to ensure a safe workplace
- Participate in “WS safe job analyses”
- Ensure that all activities are performed according to all relevant HSE requirements and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance responsibilities for position
- Delegate, motivate and communicate clearly in daily work
- Participate in Safe Job analyses or Toolbox Talk, on rig, together with customer. Also, initiate a safety-check with WS crew. Ensure relevant post-job experience transfer
- Make sure that all equipment is tested and controlled acc. to procedures
- Make sure all equipment is received acc. to delivery ticket and work scope
- Make sure all equipment is safely packed for storing or shipment onshore
- Order necessary equipment and spare-parts
- Fill-out and sign relevant reporting forms and Service Order. Send these onshore after job
- Ensure that Odfjell Technology’s HSE-rules are followed within the area of responsibility
- Build a culture for continuous improvement of quality, health, safety and environment
- Provide necessary training acc. to the training program for offshore-personnel. Make sure that this is signed out and sent onshore to personnel coordinator
- Personnel responsibility
- Hold regular Pre-job meetings with the TRS crew to ensure two-ways communication and information. Discuss the upcoming Job and make sure the crew agrees on the expected job performance and quality
- Emphasize wanted behavior and react on un-wanted behavior
- Strategy, action plan and procedures
- Through words and action; visualize our core-values and 0-fault philosophy
- Client relations (internal and external)
- Contribute to provide excellent customer service
- Social responsibilities
- Contribute to create a good working environment
- Contribute to recommend improvements, as well as record discrepancies with suggestions for corrective measures
- Work with management to develop own expertise

- Systems
- Follow all applicable instructions and procedures to maintain a good quality and effectiveness of the work
- Use the systems and programs required and authorized by the company
AUTHORITY
- Fill out and ensure daily job reporting to WS onshore operation planner on day to day operations
- Fill out and sign relevant report forms, Service order and handover after end job and send onshore
- Stop the operation if the job is unsafe, if equipment is not fit-for-use, or if the make-up criteria is unacceptable
REPORTS TO
- Organizational: TRS & CWD Manager
- During operation: Customer’s drilling supervisor
DEPUTY
- Person dedicated by line manager
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical craft certificate or equivalent
- Min. 3 years’ experience as Service Technician within TRS
- Good written and verbal communication skills; working English required
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Software
- Good interpersonal skills and strong customer service skills
