Job Description

Role Purpose: 
Looking for a talented Sales and Tendering Coordinator to assist the Sales team in Continental Europe (Romania and Netherlands)

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in sales and account management within drilling or well services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering or Mechanical and / or extensive knowledge of the oil & gas market within work location
  • Engineering and/or extensive background in drilling or well service operations
  • Broad knowledge of common drilling, wellbore cleanup, fishing, casing drilling and other specialty tools and their applications
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage customers by demonstrating value from an early stage.
  • Excellent relationship management and persuasion skills
  • Detailed knowledge of market pricing with ability to prepare high quality quotations
  • Solid understanding of contractual terms and conditions related to well services
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Dutch is an advantage. 
  • Dedicatedto providing great customer service and willing to ‘go the extra mile’

 

DUTIES/TASKS

  • Acts as a key focal point for prequalification and tendering activity in the Europe region
  • Negotiate deals to meet monthly sales targets
  • Develop sales plans, strategies, and policies for the assigned market
  • Foster and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Monitors online tender portals and emails for new tendering opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls and presentations to both new and existing clients
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive client relationships
  • Prepare tenders, quotes, and pricing for sales transactions
  • Conduct market research and surveys to stay informed about industry trends
  • Responsible for new vendor registrations and updating of existing registrations as requested by line manager
  • Routinely communicates with clients and agents as required in support of the tender process.
  • Develops, organizes and coordinates high quality tender documentation with support from the technical team as required.
  • Consolidates documentation developed by the tender team members into the required submission format
  • Maintains technical and commercial tender documentation databases to a high standard
  • Ensure proper documentation such as POs, WOs, DTs, and invoices are in place and followed up until payment is received
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product developments within the country
  • Any other duties as requested by your line manager
