Operations Supervisor WBCU and Rental

About this role 

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for WBCU and Rentals. This role will be based in Kuwait.

What you will do

·     Liaise with clients to ensure we are supplying the correct equipment
·     Liaise with offshore/onshore supervisors to ensure equipment on-board location is checked to prevent short shipments and/or duplicating equipment
·     Perform pre and post brief operation meetings with offshore/onshore personnel
·     Liaise with the offshore/onshore supervisors on what equipment should be retained or returned
·     Ensure all staff reporting to this position act in accordance with WS Company policy and country laws
·     To conduct disciplinary meetings with staff as required within your area in coordination with HR
·     Ensure the highest standard of equipment maintenance within your area
·     Ensure all equipment movements are recorded and updated in IFS
·     Ensure adequate spare/new parts are ordered effectively
·     Control the area with the most effective manner and operate continually within approved expenditure and management policies
·     Ensure department operates in line with the Company’s QA/QC policy and update maintain procedures as required
·     Supervise or be part of offshore/onshore operations for assessing personnel performance as and when required
·     Ensure all personnel reporting to this position have adequate training and are competent to complete the tasks assigned
·     Be the last man out of operations as and when required

What you will need to succeed

·     Relevant formal background & mechanical knowledge
·     Min. 10 years’ experience from rig/service operations, TRS, loose drilling equipment etc.
·     Experience from a middle management position or in a similar role preferred
·     Extensive knowledge of MEAA region and typical operators
·     Good written and oral English skills
