Job Description

As a Group Controller you will join our Group Reporting and Financial Control team. This Centre of Expertise is responsible for quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for inclusion in reporting to Oslo Stock exchange, as well as reporting to other external and internal stakeholders. The team is the key contact for group audit and coordinates the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes. 

In this key role in our GBS finance team you will have extensive interaction with other departments and colleagues across the world. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to quality in accounting and financing reporting, including compliance to guidelines and general accounting rules
  • Assist in tasks related to internal and external reporting, including consolidation, calculations and analysis
  • Be an active contributor to the development of the company’s professional expertise within VAT, TAX and accounting
  • Support audit and accounting documentation
  • Prepare financial statements, reports and tax papers
  • Key contact for Norwegian-VAT related questions
  • Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives, challenge and support the organization towards continuous improvement

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years educational background within a relevant discipline area, such as finance, accounting, or auditing
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Competence within Norwegian tax law and VAT law (general rules and regulations)
  • Competence within NGAAP and IFRS framework
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
