The Dedicated Engineering Resource is an integral part of the operational onshore team for the platform and will work closely with the Client on improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- work on projects as instructed by Client technical superintendent
- prepare documentation for initial phase of Assignment
- project planning
- coordination of estimation activities
- performing / coordination / participation in various study tasks
- coordination / execution / realization of Assignment Work and/or participation in these
- ensure that Contractor at any time have qualified Subcontractors to perform part of the Assignment Work at hand, within the Contract. The list shall on request be sent to Client
- participate in operational meetings
- coordinate Assignment Work toward drilling operations etc.
- participate in enquiry work for Assignment Work on platform(s) where Contractor is not acting as the drilling Contractor
- conduct work in accordance with Clients’s requirements
- manage the improvement suggestion process and keep track of the M1 notifications for the drilling facility
- participate in meetings as required by Client and Rig Manager
Qualifications and/or Experience:
- Higher technical education as an engineer or equivalent
- Relevant experience an advantage – but not required
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic equipment and systems within the area of responsibility
- Experience with SAP
